The hotel's location, just a two-minute walk from the beach, was perfect for our family. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotelier even helped carry our heavy luggage and provided valuable information about the local area. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the continental breakfast had a great selection, including delicious croissants. We truly felt at home at Hotel Ely.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a small playground or play area for children.

I had a truly delightful stay at a charming hotel in Viareggio. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room, located at the top of the hotel, had a private balcony that added to the overall charm. The beach, just a short walk away, was also a great addition to my stay. While the breakfast was fairly standard, it was still satisfying. I would definitely return to this delightful hotel on my next visit to Viareggio. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our visit to the beach just over the road was absolutely perfect for our little ones. They had a blast building sandcastles and splashing in the waves. It was so convenient having the beach within walking distance of the hotel, especially with young children in tow. The location of the Hotel Ely made our family outings to Pisa and Lucca a breeze as well. The friendly owners, Serena and Sandro, were always ready with helpful tips and suggestions, ensuring that our family had a memorable and enjoyable stay.
My wife says that it would have been great if the hotel had a children's play area.

The hotel is ideally located just a minute away from the beautiful seafront and promenade, making it a convenient choice for beach lovers and those who enjoy strolling by the sea. the proximity to the beach allows guests to easily access the sandy shores for a relaxing day in the sun. the hotel offers comfortable beds and a good heating system, ensuring a cozy and restful night's sleep.
It is worth mentioning that the decor of the hotel could benefit from some updating. Although this doesn't affect the overall comfort and functionality of the rooms, a fresher and more modern design would enhance the overall impression.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the bidets in the private bathrooms. But hey, that's just me!

I chose Hotel Ely specifically because of its close proximity to the Pontile Bellavista Vittoria landmark, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the self parking feature of this smoke-free hotel. The onsite local cuisine restaurant, with its light fare, was also a great bonus.
Variable water supply, outdated hairdryers.
